World Bird Wednesday

Time once again for Word Bird Wednesday!  You don't have to be an experienced bird watcher or photographer (Thank the LORD) to join in the fun.  All you really need is a love of birds--observing them, photographing them, feeding them, learning about them, sharing them, enjoying them--or just ooohing and ahhhing over the finds of others.  Whatever it is you enjoy about birds, join up with Springman's Word (yes, I do know that's is supposed to be WORLD, but I keep it WORD because of our host's poetic way with words) Bird Wednesday at The Pine River Review.  You won't be sorry--unless you miss it.

We have some immature Blue Jays and their mom in the yard right now.  And the funniest thing is---the mom will fly to the window when the feeders are empty.  I know it's weird but she never comes to the window unless the feeders need replenishing.  Then, when I go out, she and the little ones watch me and head right over there when I'm done.  Funny, huh?

Anyway, here they are:

I never realized that birds were as smart as they are. We learned a lot down here. Blue jays are so pretty but boy are they nasty!

Great shots of the little buggers begging Pam. Their short little tail feathers are so cute. I guess they have you well trained ;-)

I love these shots! You must have a very good lense to take such great close ups, and even catch the movements. Brilliant!
