Time once again for Word Bird Wednesday! You don't have to be an experienced bird watcher or photographer (Thank the LORD) to join in the fun. All you really need is a love of birds--observing them, photographing them, feeding them, learning about them, sharing them, enjoying them--or just ooohing and ahhhing over the finds of others. We have some immature Blue Jays and their mom in the yard right now. And the funniest thing is---the mom will fly to the window when the feeders are empty. I know it's weird but she never comes to the window unless the feeders need replenishing. Then, when I go out, she and the little ones watch me and head right over there when I'm done. Funny, huh?

I never realized that birds were as smart as they are. We learned a lot down here. Blue jays are so pretty but boy are they nasty!
